A fresh twist on a fall favorite! Apple Cider + Mint is handcrafted in small batches using fresh, locally sourced apple cider right in the soap recipe, making this bar something truly special.

Instead of making this soap with water alone, fresh apple cider is incorporated into the cold-process soapmaking recipe. Apple cider naturally contains sugars that can contribute to a beautiful, bubbly lather and gives this handcrafted bar its own unique character.

The soap is made with a premium blend of olive oil, organic coconut oil, shea butter and castor oil for a balance of cleansing, creamy lather and conditioning qualities. Sweet orange and peppermint essential oils create a fresh, bright aroma with crisp citrus and cool mint notes.

Each bar is individually handcrafted, cut and cured, so no two bars will look exactly alike. That’s part of the beauty of true artisan soap.

🌿 What Does “Saponified” Mean?

Traditional cold-process soap is made by combining oils and fats with sodium hydroxide (lye). During a natural chemical reaction called saponification, the sodium hydroxide reacts with the fats and oils and transforms them into soap and naturally occurring glycerin.

In a properly formulated and fully saponified bar, the lye has been consumed by this chemical reaction and unreacted lye does not remain in the finished soap. The bar is then allowed to cure before it is offered for sale.

It’s traditional chemistry that turns simple oils and butters into a beautiful handcrafted bar of soap. 🧼🌿

Saponified Olive Oil, Organic Coconut Oil, Shea Butter, Castor Oil, Fresh Apple Cider, Sweet Orange Essential Oil, Peppermint Essential Oil, Mica Powder.

For external use only. Lather with water, cleanse skin and rinse thoroughly. Keep dry between uses to extend the life of your handcrafted soap.
